Utilising the well proven principle of horizontal three pass heat exchanger design, the Alpha RS, Alpha ON and Alpha OM series of cast iron sectional heating boilers deliver efficiency and dependability.
Wide Range of Outputs With outputs from 76kW to 930kW and 23 models in the range, selecting the right boiler or groups of boilers to closely meet the needs of a heating system is made easy. Some Models Factory Preassembled To make installation simpler, the RS versions in the output range of 76kW to 145kW are factory assembled. Conformity with Standards Meeting the requirements of EN303 and produced using Cast Iron Grade GG20, the boilers are supplied with matched burners in accordance with either EN267 for oil firing or EN676 for gas firing. Application Designated as a low temperature hot water boiler, the Alpha boilers are suitable for open vented or sealed and pressurised heating systems up to a maximum working pressure of 6bar and a flow temperature of 90°C. The boilers are not suitable for direct heating of potable hot water; for generation of domestic hot water, the boilers should be used in conjunction with an indirect cylinder/calorifier or plate heat exchanger or similar arrangement. Warranty The heat exchanger components carry a 5 year warranty against defects in material or manufacturing process, with all other parts guaranteed for 12 months. Building Regulations Part L2B Compliant The Alpha range of Boilers have a Gross Seasonal Efficiency of not less than 82.4% when calculated in accordance with the formula given in the Non-Domestic Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Compliance Guide (May 2006).
