Nexus MF 40-20

The MHS Nexus MF 40/20 is a purpose designed substation incorporating twin stainless steel plate heat exchangers to supply instantaneous domestic hot water and heating from an external low temperature (up to 95°C) hot water supply. 

The domestic hot water plate heat exchanger operates automatically on hot water demand >1.0 l/min, and as standard takes priority over the heating demand. However, it is also possible  to set the unit to share priority for heating and hot water. The hot water outlet temperature is controlled by a two port thermostatic valve, which provides extremely precise temperature control at all flow rates. 

For additional safety, there is a temperature operated control valve which is connected via a high limit stat in the hot water draw off pipe, which will completely cut the primary feed to the domestic hot water plate in event of an overheat. The heating plate heat exchanger is pumped by means of a standard Grundfos domestic heating pump.
