Biomass Boilers

The UK Government is committed to combating climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80% of 1990 levels by 2050, as a result many UK and European grants and loans are now available for almost all types of low carbon heating system, whether it is domestic grants for householders or commercial grants for businesses.  There are also many organisations and charities which can offer significant incentives including 0% loans, national, regional and local grants for businesses, individuals and community projects and Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) which allow businesses to offset some or all of the capital cost of the system against their profits.

A biomass heating system is not only a very cost effective and simple way to supply heating & hot water but it is also environmentally friendly and sustainable. MHS can also supply a variety of fuel storage and conveyance solutions, together with the usual high standard of delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance services.

The boilers’ unique parallel auger fuel feed system is designed to run continuously feeding fuel into the burner grate.
The drive speed is varied by the control panel modulation and is virtually silent in operation.  The fuel feed system can be specified to feed into either the rear, left or right hand side of the burner and the day hopper can be fitted with level sensors to call for fuel from the primary fuel store.

All boilers up to 300kW are Certified to EN303-5 Class 3 and the entire range is CE Marked.

We are able to offer a complete turn-key service including design and manufacture of fuel storage and feed systems, boiler installation and commissioning, and ongoing maintenance contracts.
