MHS Boilers has launched a range of 24 new light commercial and industrial biomass boilers with outputs from 30kW to 5.8MW.   

There are two types in the Combustor range – large commercial/industrial boilers with external fans and fuel feed systems and smaller light industrial boilers with fully integrated fuel systems – both types have fully modulating burners.

More and more specifiers and developers are choosing biomass heating systems to meet their renewable energy obligations, and Combustor biomass boilers suit a wide range of applications from a small office, retail premises or school through to large factories, hospitals or office complexes.  MHS Boilers works with its approved partner companies to provide a full service from site surveys, system design and planning, through to installation and commissioning.

To complement the comprehensive range of biomass boilers, MHS has introduced a wide range of matched accessories including both flexible and rigid augurs, fuel storage facilities – from day bins and flexible bag silos, through to GRP or steel silos and roll-on/roll-off bins with walking floors and integral augurs.  Additionally, MHS Boilers will be able to supply a variety of conveyors and agitators for built-in bunker storage.

The biomass boilers are supplied complete with burners and the larger models in the series will also be supplied with an auxiliary natural gas or LPG burner for emergency heating backup. The boilers are compatible with several fuel types including wood pellets, wood chip, grain or miscanthus.  Access doors are included for using logs where required.  

The boilers are all individually built for a particular fuel type, and MHS suggests that specifiers ensure that a guaranteed local supply of fuel is sourced before installation.

Combustor biomass boilers are robust and reliable, as well as simple to operate.  Every boiler has a remote fault alert system, there is a wide choice of versatile fuel feed systems, the ability to burn a wide range of fuel types, as well as an excellent choice of outputs.
